This trash-turned-to-treasure piece has been carefully preserved in sterling silver with its back left open to allow light to shine through and bring out its oceanic allure. Due to its age, the surface of the sea glass has a few very tiny "c" shaped markings which form naturally as the surface of the sea glass is hydrated by the ocean over time. These markings are a characteristic feature of authentic sea glass. The necklace is shown here finished with a sterling silver snake-style chain.
